General Statement of Responsibilities:
To enable each child to pursue his/her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of his/her regular teacher. 
  
Responsibilities & Duties: 
1.  Maintains as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which he/she is assigned.
2.  Provides instruction outlined in lesson plans prepared by the absent teacher.
3.  Assumes responsibility for overseeing students' behavior in class and during lunch and recess periods.
4.  Follows all policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates.
5.  Reports in writing, on the form provided by the school secretary, on the day's activities at the conclusion of each teaching day.
6.  Other duties as may be assigned.
  
Qualifications & Experience: 

1.  Bachelor's Degree
2.  Valid Arizona Substitute Certificate or Teacher Certificate
3.  Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
4.  Previous Teacher or Guest Teacher experience preferred 
6.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find apropriate and acceptable.
 
Salary:            
First 15 Daily Assignments: $96 per day

Daily Assigments after first 15 dailies are complete: $110 per day 

Long Term Assignments (10, or more, consecutive days in same assignment): $125 per day
